OVERVIEW
As a member of this team, you will support the Reinsurance Administration efforts on new or existing clients who have partnered with Inpoint (an Aon company). This requires professionally and efficiently servicing assigned accounts and meeting client deliverables. This role will include direct client interaction as well as strong partnering internally to provide quality service to our clients. You will be challenged with continuous learning, and required to become familiar with the insurance and reinsurance industry. Also, nominal travel may be required.

Primary Accountabilities – Partner with Account Executives and other account team members on execution of account deliverables. – Accurately analyze reinsurance claim transactions to validate and ensure data integrity and accurate reinsurance reporting. – Assist management in researching issues, work to provide client solutions. – Communicate and interact closely with team, management and clients, as well as a variety of other internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality service and support. – Analyze and manipulate data, perform financial reconciliations, build and strengthen knowledge of reinsurance transactions and problem-solving skills. Ability to validate and recognize accuracy and completeness of results produced. – Interpret and apply reinsurance contract terms to clients reinsurance transactions, along with any other client governing documents.

Qualifications – Related 4 year business degree, OR equivalent direct industry experience (insurance/reinsurance). – Approximately 2-5 years of business experience, with industry experience being a huge plus. – Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills – Proactive, with strong problem solving and detail orientation; ability to recognize and research issues and inconsistencies, and offer solutions to address client needs – Excellent analytical skills – Highly adaptable, with demonstrated ability and strong initiative to work with minimal direction and produce results, in a fast-paced, ever changing environment – Excellent organizational skills to work on multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment – MS Office proficient with advanced use of Excel. Adaptable to other proprietary systems/applications as demonstrated by previous experience with other platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Input agent/agency information into Aon’s licensing application program.
Maintain and update Aon’s tracking system daily.
Research and verify current license status.
Run monthly renewal reports from tracking system.
Notify all agents regarding their upcoming license renewals on a monthly basis.
Process requests for agent affiliations and/or appointments as necessary in order to ensure company and agent compliance.
Review company director and officer list for changes and work with Legal Department to update.
Send current license copies to the appropriate sponsoring insurance carriers.
Follow up with agents, state insurance departments, and insurance carriers.
Compile business correspondence and manage telephone calls in a professional manner to the agents, insurance carriers, and insurance departments.
Responsible for ensuring the renewal and processing of licenses, including requesting or processing required fees, requesting any additional documentation, processing the renewal form accurately within the required time, run state reports (PDB), and review credit card transactions.
Submit personal/agency information changes to state insurance department.
Maintain and manage an average workload.
Interact with other Aon departments/employees located throughout the U.S. regarding agent licensing.

Qualifications:
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing or orally.

Experience: Knowledge of insurance state insurance requirements

Education: High school diploma required

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Knowledge of licensing programs; Producer Plus (License tracking system) and SIRCON.

Planning/Organizing Skills: Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; carry out set goals and objectives.
