Currently, we are seeking Customer Service Representatives for our Central Processing Center located in Dallas, TX for our upcoming training class that begins in January 2012. All selected candidates must be able to work in our Dallas, Texas office.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Central Processing Center (CPC) Customer Service Representative, you will process account and policy-specific information received from our various branch office locations. The selected candidates will process new policies, make requested adjustments to policies, and be responsible for maintaining electronic documentation and achieving service and quality goals within the department.

The ideal candidates must have exceptional customer service, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, organizational and time management skills. Position Description:
Appraisers provide a critical service by analyzing customer’s homes and their valued contents, making specific recommendations to correct deficiencies, determining the appropriate replacement costs and providing underwriters with an overall risk analysis. This includes visiting with clients in their homes to discuss insurance needs, establish replacement costs, evaluate adequacy of life safety/security systems. Create risk assessment reports to be used by underwriters, agents and insureds. Based on an insured’s possessions and lifestyle, identify and effectively market the need for additional Chubb coverages. The training process will be a combination of formalized classroom training, on-the-job training, and self-directed training. Training managers, technical specialists and experienced appraisers will work with trainee to cultivate relationship with clients to effectively market Chubb’s products, and to sell the appraisal process as a demonstration Chubb commitment to superior service.

Job Skills Required:
• The successful candidate will be able to deal effectively with a wide variety of people; have an interest in art, architecture or construction; have an aptitude for evaluating, analyzing and interpreting information; have proficiency in expressing oneself well in verbal and written communication; and an ability to adapt to new ideas and situations.

Relocation Requirement:

Within approximately one year, you will be placed as a Personal Lines Appraiser in one of our Eastern Territory branches.

This trainee position is for 2011.

Requirements
Bachelors degree, finance or accounting strongly preferred.

Proven written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively interact with internal colleagues, but also a variety of external contacts such as HR, finance, and senior level professionals at client organizations
