Currently, Chubb is seeking an Account Executive for the Whitehouse Station, NJ office.
Position Description:
The Account Executive will service the insurance needs for unappointed agents and brokers. They are responsible to create positive working relationships with customers on sensitive insurance matters and deliver quality service & professional results. The Account Executive will prepare quotes and written proposals for enrolled agents, as well as pre-underwrite all new line/endorsement submissions and stay within applicable binding authority. They will identify opportunities for account rounding. They are responsible to establish effective relationship with agents and underwriters to meet and exceed cross-sell goals ($384,000 annually) and to provide superior service. They will also manage multiple tasks for business objectives.
Performance Skills:
• Excellent verbal, written, phone and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Possess excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong organization, analytical and decision making ability
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, adjusting to changing priorities
• Must be able to ensure complete confidentiality
• 2 years sales and marketing experience
• Strong negotiation skills
Technical Skills:
• Accurate typing skills (35+wpm)
• PC Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
• Knowledge of the Masterpiece rating and inquiry system preferred
• Experience with various rating and resource software
• Knowledge of Personal Lines underwriting a plus
Competencies:
• Team player
• Problem solver
• Resourceful
• Personal accountability
• Objectivity
• Self-starter
Education:
• Associate's degree or equivalent job experience
• Property and Casualty license preferred
