Chubb Specialty is looking for an Executive Protection Underwriter for our Dallas Office. This position will be responsible for generating new and renewal business for D&O, EPL, Crime and Fiduciary lines of coverage. Specific responsibilities include producer relationship management, compliance with underwriting and file documentation guidelines/objectives while achieving revenue and profit goals, marketing and prospecting activities, and close coordination with branch and marketing management and fellow underwriters to accomplish business objectives.
A proven and successful track record, with a minimum of 3 years experience underwriting D&O, EPL Crime and Fiduciary lines of coverage. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to apply those skills both internally and externally. Candidate should also have a proven track record of effectively working with, and building relationships with brokers/agents. A commitment to superb technical skills, execution of product strategy and proper file documentation is also necessary. Excellent analytical and decision making skills along with being a highly motivated self starter with a positive attitude and desire to grow professionally is a must. A team oriented outlook is also necessary including a desire to work with branch management, marketing personnel and fellow underwriters. Qualified candidates will have proven ability to execute new and/or modified strategies in an evolving, dynamic legal and claim environment.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
