Full-time Domestic Sourcing Specialist II

Currently, Chubb is seeking a Domestic Sourcing Specialist II for the Warren, NJ office.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of complex and or high dollar domestic third party arrangements and works as a business unit liaison, the assigned primary point of contact for a business area. This position will also work with the business units to assist in optimizing the alignment between the business priorities and strategic sourcing opportunities.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for facilitating the acquisition of domestic goods and services for one or more expense categories.
•Acts as primary liaison between the assigned business area and the GSS department and assures alignment of business area needs and strategic sourcing opportunities
•Manage workflow and demand for their business unit.
•Responsible for communicating Global Strategic Sourcing’s policies and procedures.
•Responsible for developing and leading cross functional project teams through sourcing of identified sourcing initiatives in their expense category(ies).
•Develops and maintains a portfolio of "best in class" suppliers and assesses supplier market for assigned category(ies)
•Identifies sourcing and other savings opportunities within their expense category(ies)
•Manages the competitive bidding process for identified opportunities
•Defines negotiation strategy; leads/conducts negotiations; and oversees contract development to its completion
•Works with Analytics and Compliance in developing, monitoring, tracking and reporting supplier performance and sourcing savings for their category(ies) of spend.
•Works with Outsourcing Supplier Managers in sourcing strategic opportunities within the DSS’ owned category(ies) where an outsourced supplier arrangement is involved
•Works with General Counsel as needed to manage contract documentation (MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, etc.) for all supplier related work.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
•Must have strong organizational skills
•Must be detail and multi-task oriented
•Experience in analyzing professional services and software licensing cost desired
•Experience in sourcing professional services and software licensing cost desired
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Must demonstrate self-initiative
•Experience with contract law or administration
•Must have strong project management, consulting, financial analysis and negotiation skills
•Skilled in workflow management
•Global sourcing experience desired
•Must be proficient in standard technologies (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
•Experience in use of sourcing software and solutions (eg. Ariba) preferred
