Full-time Subrogation Analyst

Inpoint Services is a division of Aon specializing in the identification, billing and recovery of non-premium recoverables like third party deductibles, subrogation and reinsurance. Our services, which leverage proprietary technology and predictive analytics, maximize recovery potential and financial performance for our customers.

We currently have several career opportunities for Subrogation Analyst in our Coraopolis, PA office:
Position
Research and analyze claims to identify missed subrogation recovery opportunities for personal and commercial lines insurance carriers. This position requires making liability assessments while considering the underlying state regulations and subrogation laws. Position entails extensive work at a computer station in a metrics driven, task-oriented environment.
Primary Accountabilities
Research claims data within client systems to determine liability and missed subrogation potential
Comprehend and apply state laws and regulations to verify subrogation recoverability
Develop and document theories of liability to be presented to clients
Identify trends within client processes and develop data filters to refine workflows
Maintain accurate records of time allocation in time tracking application
Communicate account status to appropriate internal sources

Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Previous experience in an insurance claims, legal or research environment preferred
Proven ability and experience in utilizing judgment and decision making skills
Ability to work independently in a repetitive environment to meet quality and quantity metrics
Interpersonal skills to work in a team environment that also requires sharing information across department boundaries and with external clients as needed
