Position Summary:
In this role, under general supervision, you will evaluate and settle casualty claims of modest to complex exposure (including fatalities) by investigating losses, negotiating settlements and reporting obtained information in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining adequate production levels. 

May assist junior adjusters
Recommend litigation when appropriate
Sets loss reserves, and control claim costs
Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
Presents evidence at legal proceedings; producing reports and other documents as evidence

Perform duties in other areas as requested.

Requirements:
Ability to travel
A valid driver’s license
Good attention to detail
Strong analytical and mathematical ability
Minimum 6 months previous experience as a Claims Adjuster
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including on-call work beyond normal business hours

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
