This position is accountable for the rating needs of the business unit. This is a primary level operations position responsible for rating quotes, endorsements, and optional quotes on the most complex policies.
Essential Job Functions-
Rate quotes, endorsements, and optional quotes.
Communicate with Underwriter any problems or concerns with account data.
Identify and Report any systems and/or rating problems to the Rating Analyst and/or Management.
Use ISONET to order specific rates and tentative rates.
Use Silverplume and various other sources to research possible data inconsistencies.
Serve as technical resource for Raters in absence of Rating Analyst.
Attend all training classes as instructed.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements-
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong planning, math/analytical and organizational skills preferred.
Strong computer keyboarding skills preferred.- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.- Experience in the insurance industry or a related field (2-4 years).Experience with Commerical lines.
