This position will cover the Loveland / Cheyenne office territory. Office location will be moved to Ft Collins, CO effective October 2010.

Claims Adjuster (Multi-Lines)

The mission of the Special Lines Claims Team is to provide immediate and effective claims service to all Progressive Motorcycle, Marine, RTV, Trailer, Motor Homes, Travel Trailers and Commercial Auto policy holders, while maintaining excellent file quality, accurate estimates, and optimizing expenses.

This is an independent career oriented position that requires some non-traditional hours and occasional overnight travel. Boat & motorcycle adjusters investigate, evaluate and negotiate all special lines related claims involving Watercraft, Motorcycles, Motor Homes and Travel Trailers. This includes but is not limited to estimating damages to: engines, transmissions, system diagnostics, specialized repairs, custom paint and floods.

Knowledge/Skills
- Prior experience evaluating property damage or service writing in the Special Lines areas or equivalent education and experience that demonstrate the ability to learn to evaluate property damage and settle claims.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve customers, negotiate, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges.
- Valid Drivers License and good three-year driving history required.
