Full-time Associate Account Executive

Description:
- Assists in the managing of medium to high complexity accounts (determined by size of account and/or nature of business)
- Manages market negotiation and proposal preparation on designated programs
- Sets engagement of international offices based on proactive conversation with overall Account Executive
- Responsible for profitability of accounts
- Manages key processes and internal activities to deliver client-facing services
- Begins to independently establish and develop client relationships
- Demonstrates technical competency and creates innovative solutions
- Demonstrates effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices & processes
- Emerging coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationships
- Possesses basic competency on assigned coverages (common forms, exclusions, endorsed enhancements)
- Possesses & utilizes basic negotiation skills for the brokerage process
- Participate and promote pre and post placement servicing (premium financing, claims, etc.)
- Actively seeks out new and challenging projects
- Is mentored by others with intent to develop into account executive / broker position

Requirements:
- Should have 1-3 years experience in commercial insurance
- Must have P&C license or ability to obtain one in six months from date of hire
- Candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and work with a sense of urgency.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail with ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to manage several ongoing complex projects
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
