Affiliate Services Manager
at NCCI in Florida

Job Purpose:
Creates and enhances the strategic partnership between NCCI and its smaller premium-based Affiliates. Ensures these Affiliates are aware of, consulted on, and educated about NCCI’s products and services, strategic direction, and initiatives and in turn have an effective channel to provide feedback. Serves as the primary liaison between Carriers and NCCI on Data reporting, finance, billing, and product & service issues.
This position requires frequent travel which includes overnight trips. (3-4 weeks per month, approximately 3 nights per trip.)
Major Duties:
Conducts in-person visits and presentations to senior management at assigned affiliated carriers. Help affiliates stay current on industry issues that could impact their results. Communicate NCCI results and findings to management of affiliated companies. Work with Account Managers to evaluate product usage and develop presentations to keep affiliates current on NCCI products and services.
Encourage the use and train on available NCCI tools to assist affiliates with cost reduction, strategy, and productivity efforts. Gather and provide feedback to management and divisions on affiliate issues, reactions, use and need for product enhancement and new product/service creation.
Understand assigned affiliate near and long term strategies and encourage their use of additional NCCI tools that assist the affiliate in their decision making process.
Act as a liaison between NCCI and the affiliate in the management of issues important to the affiliate. Work with all NCCI divisions as necessary to ensure that these issues are dealt with timely and appropriately. Communicate findings and results to appropriate management level at affiliate.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
A minimum of five years’ total experience within a P & C insurance company in underwriting, actuarial, claims, data reporting, or account management areas. Three years operational experience in workers compensation.
Ability to communicate and present to senior level insurance executives as well as senior members of Underwriting, Actuarial, Claim and Data Reporting departments. General knowledge of workers compensation insurance operations and NCCI’s products and services. Ability to manage travel schedule and expense account reporting.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
CPCU, ARM designations preferred.
