Overview
Impact Forecasting is a catastrophe modeling group which provides both a packaged solution as well as ad hoc and custom analysis services in support of reinsurance placement and risk evaluation. As part of this team you will gain diversified exposure to the reinsurance industry. Your role will include a variety of assignments such as: research, data cleaning, processing and interpretation, modeling, report writing, etc.
 
Qualifications
Bachelors of Science degree in a related field such as statistics, economics, engineering etc. At least 3 years experience in related work. Experience with the insurance industry a definite plus.

Experience with research methods, data collection and analysis, preferably from the insurance industry.
Knowledge of relational databases and data structures.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access / MS SQL Server or similar; general proficiency with other MS office applications
Proven organizational skills; ability to work on multiple concurrent projects independently
Solid written communication skills
Team player; effectively able collaborate across functions and team boundaries
