Full-time Financial Analyst

Description :

This part time role is responsible to manage financial activities of the business including but not limited to planning,procurement, expense reporting, payroll, 401(k) and banking activities as well as client input for all financial information of the business as well as administrative and office support duties. This role requires someone who is willing to roll up their seleves and contribute where necessary. The intial hours will start at 20 hours per week.

Tasks :


• Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Write internal policies at the direction of the President for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities.
• Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed monthly to the business management.
• Receive checks, monthly franchise reconciliations, reconcile balance sheet accounts, make prepare deposits.
• Compute, withhold, and account for all payroll deductions.
• Prepare information for outside CPA's as well as 401(k) administrators to ensure that returns andfilings arecompleted correctly and on time.
• Prepare timely disbursements for independent contractor payments monthly.
• Prepare monthly expense reports for management and ensure expenses are in accordance with company polices and balances reconcile to company charge statements.
• Prepare financial analysis for members of TAB. Recommend to the Partners, areas where the members could improve their business so the partner can consult/advise the members.
• Perform basic support tasks including fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors,word processing, filing documents, copying and faxing.

• Stong computer and internet research skills.

Experience And Education :

• Bachlors Degree in accounting or finance. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience with financial statements either through preparation or analysis. CPA preferred.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to indepentantly travel during the day to various banks, insurance agencies, or clients when necessary.
