PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To provide clerical support to the claims staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Enters data into claims management system.
Sends out claims management system reports.
Files documents in one to five drawer filing cabinets.
Handles incoming and outgoing mail including opening incoming mail, indexing, delivering packages, seals and adds postage to outgoing mail.
Sends faxes; photocopies as needed.
Reviews, prepares, creates, and/or sends letters, reports, and forms.
Runs checks.
Performs receptionist duties.
Supports the total performance management initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required.

Experience
Six (6) months clerical experience required.

Skills & Knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

WORK ENVIRONMENT
