Full-time Associate Account Specialist -

We have a career opportunity in our Chicago Loop office for an Associate Account Specialist.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The Associate Account Specialist is responsible for providing day to day service to clients of light to moderate complexity. The position requires the development of solid relationships with client personnel and good understanding of customer needs. The Associate Account Executive responds to the customer’s needs and coordinates internal resources to deliver services.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Applicant must demonstrate excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communication.
- Applicant must also demonstrate the ability to work in a high volume environment and organize projects.
- Must be PC literate, have or achieve proficiency in internal systems (Bridge, GRIP, and Outlook) and have advanced skills in Word and Excel.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Assists in the managing of low to medium complexity accounts (determined by size of account and/or nature of business)
- Services low to medium complexity accounts
- Supports key processes and internal activities to deliver client-facing services
- Provides support to account executives
- Develops understanding of insurance market and client-facing capabilities
- Develops understanding of operating processes and methodologies
- Begins to develop internal and client relationships
- Works independently with moderate guidance and supervision
- Obtains or possesses current industry license
