Job Purpose:
To learn NCCI actuarial concepts and contribute to actuarial projects after demonstrating exam progress and competency in one actuarial area.

Major Duties:
Completes assigned tasks in products, state rate filings, legislative pricings, reserving, and research projects. Analyzes moderate to complex information and draws conclusions consistent with concepts learned. Develops and improves processes. Uses knowledge to review reasonability of results, reviews results critically.
Develops a deeper understanding of the technical, actuarial, insurance, economic, and statistical concepts behind the task performed.
Continues to study for actuarial exams.
Develops increased proficiency in using actuarial systems and NCCI databases.
Provide more complex programming as needed to access and organize actuarial data without appreciable direction.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:
2 exams and 1 year experience

NCCI systems, basic insurance / actuarial and statistical concepts, independent, critical thinking, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, communication skills.
