PURPOSE:
Promotes AAA Insurance Agency products and services under minimal supervision.

Responds to questions and problems of members/insureds/Field Insurance Sales Agents, OAC employees. Affords service as sound sales practices require and administers AAA Ohio Auto Club policies within Insurance Services.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & EXPECTATIONS:
1. Learn product features, marketing, sales and file service techniques necessary to perform duties.
2. Maintain Insurance Services policy files following internal processing procedures to assure that transactions are handled in accordance with company policies and practices.
3. Develop leads and prospects for the purpose of converting them to insureds by cross selling into the existing Insurance Services policy files.
4. Pursue and secure new business and additional product sale opportunities on a continuous basis.
5. Contact members/insureds/Field Sales Insurance Agents regarding insurance matters (i.e. updating policies).
6. Adhere to the “Non-Compete Agreement for Employees” and the Insurance Agency guidelines and procedures.
7. Attend sales and staff meetings as scheduled.
8. Maintain quality standards and control for all lines of insurance handled by Insurance Services.
9. Meet continuing education requirements to maintain licenses.
10. Maintain good attendance and tardiness record.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, SPECIFIC ABILITIES:
1. Excellent communication skills to include the ability to present complex information in a clear manner.
2. Possession of valid Ohio Property and Casualty sales license.
3. Possess good clerical skills, detail ability and strong telephone communication skills
4. Learn PC for rating and obtaining policy information on existing accounts.
5. Prospect and develop new sales opportunities by cross selling existing policy files.
6. Knowledge of the Agency Management System.

- Hourly wages start at $14.09 – $15.50 depending on experience – Full Benefits package included – Reimbursement for any expenses incurred for Continuing education class to maintain insurance license

Must possess Property and Casualty license.
