PURPOSE: Promotes and sells AAA Insurance Agency products and services. Responds to questions and problems of members/policy holders and affords service as sound sales practices require.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & EXPECTATIONS:
1. Learn product features, marketing and sales techniques necessary to perform duties and achieve monthly sales goals as outlined in the Insurance Sales Agent P&C Incentive Program.
2. Develop leads and prospects for the purpose of converting them to policy holders. Pursue and secure new business and additional product sales opportunities by following OAC’s Leads Management program.
3. Proactively contact with member leads that are provided via the appropriate mode of communication.
4. Handle such transactions as may be required to amend or add insurance coverage, to change addressees, etc., when request cannot be handled by Customer Service group.
5. Follow internal process procedures to assure that transactions are handled in accordance with company and agency policies, practices and guidelines.
6. Meet production goals (New Business policies, EFT/Paid-in-Full, Multipolicy%, and Written Premium) as established, while maintaining quality standards for all lines of insurance. Store agents should contribute toward team goals that set for their store.
7. Adhere to AAA Insurance Agency guidelines and procedures.
8. Attend sales and staff meetings as scheduled.
9. Meet continuing education requirement to maintain licenses.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, SPECIFIC ABILITIES:
1. Excellent communication skills to include ability to present complex information in a clear manner.
2. Strong math and computer skills to enable the agent to determine premium rates.
3. Possession of valid Ohio Property and Casualty sales license is desired but is not mandatory.
4. If not licensed, passing state licensing exams for P&C is required.
5. Organize, plan, promote, and sell products..

Must be able to attend paid training at our Headquarters location in Worthington, OH (and/or other store locations) as required

Hourly pay rate $13.65 to $14.67 depending on experience/qualifications
