Financial Analyst - Property/Casualty
at Confidential in New Jersey
This position will be responsible for the financial analysis of a portfolio of Property/Casualty insurance companies including the analysis of financial information and making recommendations regarding the financial strength. This position will have interaction with top management of insurance companies.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in financial analysis, financial reporting or accounting with an insurance company.
• Strong knowledge of Property/Casualty Insurance.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (MBA a plus)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Statutory Statement and Basic Accounting Principles.
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS insurance accounting.
• Familiarity with underwriting claims, and loss control functions.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
