PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To ensure team and colleague technical and quality activities are provided within a region with a focus on trends and quality compliance; to assess office needs within a region for training and make training recommendations to management; and to ensure Total Performance Managers (TPMs) are taking appropriate actions facilitating overall office performance, development and improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures that Total Performance Mangers (TPMs) are properly administering the company's audit tracking system program; oversees consistency of local office file audits.
2. Reviews audit findings and results to local, regional and national operations.
3. Assists the Regional Operations Director in coordinating and implementing national quality initiatives within the region and in mentoring field office leadership.
4. Participates in the development of training tools that drive performance of the technical and administrative colleagues.
5. Tracks and reports on trends within the region; utilizes trend information to work in cooperation with Regional Managers and coordinates training and improvement activities needed to meet established operational and technical audit requirements.
6. Manages colleague coaching, mentoring and group training; participates as needed.
7. Manages new colleague training.
8. Ensures that TPMs are properly administering EQUIP to new colleagues.
9. Works with TPMs to provide operations management with objective colleague quality measurements for use in the performance management program.
10. Participates in quarterly national total performance management (TPM) review meetings with national TPM and Quality leaders.
11. Maintains technical claims and jurisdictional expertise.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs other duties as assigned.
2. Supports the organization's quality program(s).
3. Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification such as AIC, CPCU or ARM preferred.
Experience
Six (6) years of claims management experience; two (2) years of quality, auditing and/or training experience; and two (2) years of supervisory experience required. Two (2) years of service with the company preferred.

- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
