Prepares, reviews, and enters demographic and census rate quote information for various plans, groups, and individuals into internal rating systems for development of rates. Works within various rating system applications for the development of new business and renewal rates for all lines of business for small groups. Audits and recalculates various quotes to ensure census consistency between enrolled demographics and quoted demographics for account installation purposes. Assists Underwriters in the development of individual and large group renewals and proposals. Maintains and updates various tracking databases. Ensures internal turnaround requirements are met. Completes special projects and other assignments for the department and for the division as requested by management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience required. One to two years experience working in an insurance environment or strong financial/mathematical background is required. Strong analytical and mathematical skills as well as the ability to recognize, research and resolve discrepancies are required. Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of products (Word Access, and Excel) required. Must be detailed oriented, skilled in problem solving and knowledgeable of insurance concepts and rating techniques.
