PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To determine the proper parameter set-up of new and renewal clients in the claims management system; to investigate call escalations for parameter issues and make corrections; and to perform ongoing maintenance of office and client parameters utilized by the claims management system to direct claim administration and client reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines client parameters setup to meet client needs and reporting requirements.
Sets up and maintains parameters based on information provided from field offices and clients.
Creates and produces query data for internal clients; verifies accuracy and distribution of data.
Updates and explains to field office affects of parameter changes or forms to specific accounts.
Identifies, isolates and resolves problems with account parameters; provides alternative solutions to field office needs as required.
Investigates call escalations for parameter problems; corrects parameters as required.
Performs research for clients, carriers and implementation team.
Oversees special parameter projects involving mass moves, mini-conversions, carrier issues, banking issues, restructuring, etc; communicates project status to appropriate parties.
Investigates call escalations for parameter issues; corrects parameters as required.
Acts as highest level of support for the parameter team.
Assists supervisor with parameter training and documentation for training and procedural manuals.
Provides senior level support to parameter specialists on complex issues.
Supports the Total Performance Management initiative.
Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Associate degree in a computer field from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience: Two (2) years Microsoft Office products in a Windows environment and one (1) year claims management system experience required. UNIX operating systems experience preferred.
