Full-time Sr. Account Executive (Personal Lines)

Job Summary:
The world’s foremost independent risk advisors are busy, which is good news for licensed P&C brokers with an eye for the big picture and a knack for getting inside a client’s business. We seek a Sr. Account Executive with a minimum of 7 years of Personal Lines brokerage experience, VIP Preferred. Candidates should be strategic thinkers who value honesty and possess a sense of urgency matched by integrity and an absolute commitment to client care. The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for servicing all aspects of an assigned book of personal lines business.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
The duties of the Sr. Account Executive include, but are not limited to:
• To service existing accounts and develop new business accounts in accordance with the objectives of the Personal Lines Manager & Team Leader and established guidelines and procedures.
• Develop and achieve minimum production volume consistent with sales objectives
• Actively generate new leads through various sources (client referrals, community meetings, etc.)
• Submit date on potential accounts and renewals to support personnel for processing, market the account, present proposals to prospects and clients, close sales and deliver policies
• Remark existing accounts at clients request or market environment warrants.
• Handle all processing with client and/or company personnel
• Execute coverage analysis: enlist assistance of Team/other departments when applicable; notify client of coverage gaps; provide client with quotation for additional coverages; document our proposal and client’s acceptance/declination in Sagitta.
• Service existing book of Personal Lines business, as assigned or needed. Maintain Accounts Receivables.
• Refer all leads, other than Personal Lines, to appropriate Department Manager
• Promote agency to insurance industry
• Participate in company and agency sales promotions
• Keep informed of industry developments through review of trade press and by attending company-training meetings on new products.
• Attending classes, i.e. CISR, CIC, etc.
• Review all renewals within established guidelines.
• Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Personal Lines Manager and/or Team Leader

Requirements and Qualifications:
• 7+ years experience at an insurance brokerage in Personal Lines, VIP Preferred
• Valid P&C brokers’ license
• College degree preferred
• Attend management approved seminars
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills
• Sagitta agency management system knowledge
