Account Specialist with Health & Benefits

We are currently looking for an Account Specialist with Health & Benefits experience in our Omaha, NE office. No relocation will be provided.
Position Description:
- Evaluate renewals
- Review annual accountings for accuracy
- Prepare and analyze benefits RFPs, renewals and related information
- Analyze carrier claims, utilization reports, and report findings to consultants and
clients
- Prepare financial histories for client
- Peer review technical reports
- Develop clients’ benefits strategy in concert with other programs
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Work as a liaison between client and vendor to resolve problems
- Create and present Open Enrollment material for client meetings
Model Candidate Skills:
At least 3 years' experience in the H&B insurance industry in a service capacity or related business experience. Experience with multi-state operations beneficial. Health & Welfare Insurance License for Nebraska a plus. Candidate needs to be self-motivated, proactive and work with a sense of urgency. Organization skills and attention to detail. Team player. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook a plus.
