Major Account Consultant

The Major Accounts Consultant (MAC) is responsible for the successful retention and growth of 1000+ subs, ASO, and/or Shared Advantage employer groups to achieve business objectives. The MAC is an expert consultant on larger or more complex cases, elevating the perception of BSC capabilities in this segment. The MAC is responsible for successful producer and employer relationships to expand 1000+ subs, ASO, and/or Shared Advantage business in the mid/large market. Once a new sale of a 1000+ subs, ASO or Shared Advantage group is completed, the MAC takes ownership of the account. The MAC oversees the implementation of a new 1000+ subs, ASO, or Shared Advantage group and owns the employer relationship.
The Major Accounts Consultant is accountable for achieving individual retentio and growth goals in the 1000+ subs, ASO, and Shared Advantage segments. It is estimated that the MAC spends 40% of their time in the field.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and seven years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven excellence in account retention and growth skills and results for the 1000+ subs, ASO, and Shared Advantage segments
• Sold healthcare products through direct sales or producers
• Maintains valid driver’s license
• Active life license required and continuing education to support the license
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, sales force automation/CRM (e.g. salesforce.com), Facets, etc.
