Analyst, Reinsurance Accounts

This position is located in Minneapolis
OVERVIEW
As a member of this team, you will support the Reinsurance Administration efforts for new or existing clients who have partnered with Inpoint Services. This requires professionally and efficiently servicing all needs related to assigned accounts in order to meet client deliverables. This role will include direct client interaction as well as strong partnering internally to provide quality service to our clients. This person will be challenged with continuous learning, and required to become familiar with the insurance and reinsurance industries in order to ensure success in this role. Also, nominal travel and/or onsite client work may be required.
Primary Accountabilities
Partner with Account Executives and other account team members on execution of account deliverables
Analyze and interpret client reports including reinsurance premium and claim transactions to validate and ensure data integrity and accurate reinsurance reporting
Assist management in problem solving and researching issues, working to provide client solutions
Communicate and interact closely with team, management and clients, as well as a variety of other internal and external contacts to provide high quality service and support
Interpret and apply reinsurance contract terms to clients’ reinsurance transactions
Review and determine cash allocation and perform reconciliations
Qualifications
Related 4 year business degree, OR equivalent direct industry (insurance/reinsurance) experience
Strongly prefer minimum 2+ years of experience from a directly related (insurance or reinsurance) industry. Otherwise, requires at least 2 years experience from a non routine business environment that demonstrates strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
Proactive, with strong problem solving and detail orientation; ability to recognize and research issues and inconsistencies, and offer solutions to the team in addressing client needs
Highly adaptable, with demonstrated ability and strong initiative to work with minimal direction and produce results, in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
Excellent organizational skills to work on multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment
MS Office proficient with advanced use of Excel. Adaptable to other proprietary systems/applications as demonstrated by previous experience with other platforms
Driving Execution & Results. Strong team player and collaboration, contributing to satisfaction of overall client servicing, strategy and results.
Client Value and Unmatched Teams. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external contacts, and across functional areas.
