Skilled Legal Secretary – Prior Case Management Experience Needed!

The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join the House Counsel team in Chubb's New York City office.
Job Description:
The Legal Secretary position will provide secretarial support to 3 attorneys and paralegals. They will prepare, serve and file accurate, professional documents in a timely manner for the members of the attorney-secretary-paralegal team and other staff members when needed. The Legal Secretary will also prioritize assignments and communicate the status of assignments to team members. Job duties also include interacting with court clerks, claims examiners, clients and attorneys.
Job Requirements:
• Proficiency of Microsoft Word is essential.
• Minimum 55 words per minute typing speed/accuracy
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication (oral and written) skills are required.
• Strong time management and desk management skills with an ability to work in a high volume and team environment are essential.
• The candidate should be a highly motivated individual and possess high initiative as well as ability to work independently in a multi-task environment.
• Prior case management experience required (ProLaw a plus)
