Responsible for selling activities in a territory or to a group of consultants/brokers for quota attainment. Knowledgeable regarding complete line of product/services and customers“ issues and needs. Focuses on seeking out new customers by building key relationships with brokers/consultants. Works with sources which may include brokers, consultants and employers to attain sales.
Responsibilities
Responsible for a new business quota attainment for Small Group product lines in assigned territory/accounts. Responsible for assignments ranging from routine to moderate scope and complexity. Works under general supervision and able to function independently to produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability.
Makes decisions on routine matters where established policies and procedures are available. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Education/Requirements:
Generally requires moderate to thorough experience in sales of Small Group medical, Dental, Life and Vision products
Typically has a bachelor“s degree.
1-3 years of Health Plan sales experience.
Life and Health license required.
Has negotiating skills.
