Adjuster / Senior Adjuster / General Adjuster – Property Loss Claims

Join our rapidly growing team of professional adjusters as we continue to expand our product offerings to carriers demanding the highest quality loss adjusting work product for their property and casualty business.
Description
Resolve personal and commercial property loss claims with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities for the position include:
• examine claim forms, policies/endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage;
• investigate and settle claims promptly and fairly;
• set loss reserves;
• control claims costs;
• recommend litigation when appropriate and present evidence at legal proceedings;
• maintain company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
• maintain high service standards;
• maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing company provided industry best education
Additional Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, some education beyond high school required.
Knowledge and skills required:
• at least 3 years experience resolving moderately complex personal and commercial property loss claims
• at least 8 to 10 years required for General Adjusters handling highly complex and high dollar losses
• strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• strong writing skills
• strong analytical and mathematical ability
• strong PC/laptop skills to include a claims or appraisal system such as Xactimate
License/Certifications Required:
Must have a valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record
Must be a licensed adjuster as required by local and state regulations
