Job Purpose
The incumbents in these positions perform systems change work with a heavy focus on investment project work. They can perform as an independent leads representing Data Resources on projects with significant external customer impact. The incumbents in this role need to have the ability to be the primary drafter of business requirements with a broad impact on data providers.

Major Duties:
• Lead on discretionary and baseline system changes - includes writing requirements, performing testing, coordinating with other testers, all associated meetings
• Business Lead on investment projects - includes writing requirements, performing testing, coordinating with other testers, all associated meetings
• Oversee team process and procedure manuals ensuring all are kept current
• Maintain business partnerships with project leads in other divisions and develop process improvement joint strategies

Required Education, Experience and Skills:
• Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• 5 years in an analytical role – preferably in a service-oriented enterprise
• 3 years in a data operations, data management, or insurance environment
• Understanding of insurance data elements
• Experienced systems tester
• Experience documenting requirements for baseline and discretionary systems changes
• Experience filling a lead business role on systems change projects
• Strong knowledge of project methodology and experience preparing project plans
• A general understanding of NCCI customers and customer processes
• A general understanding of NCCI data types, data standards and how data is used in NCCI products
• Expert knowledge of customers and customer processes for data types and processes supported
• Expert knowledge of business functions and flows of systems used in functional area - including comprehension of complex issues, changes, and resolutions
• Ability to execute queries and make minor modifications in SAS, etc.
• Can take business project lead role on large corporate projects, including project estimates, CBAs, ROIs, risk assessment, benefits and project plan
• Adept at conducting research using NCCI's data tools and databases
• Can move to new lead role assignments with unfamiliar subject-matter easily with minimal ramp-up
• Works under minimal supervision with formal guidelines and policies
• Has good understanding of PMO process and the ability to accurately produce all required deliverables (e.g. project initiation, business requirements, test cases, etc.)
• Understanding of testing strategies, types of systems testing, and test plans
• Experience drafting requirements for all facets of data processes including requirements for external GUI changes, changes to data processing rules, and changes to data edits.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
WCPOLS and IAIABC experience
