We have a career opportunity for a Broker in our Wichita office.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Development, negotiation and day to day management of all aspects of client coverage and marketing in support of Aon’s Southwest Aviation Practice and US retail offices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Placement and renewal of aviation insurance overages
-Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with the Aviation department. Performs submission assembly/creation where assigned
-Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients and underwriters.
-Review and advise on aviation-related contracts, and generate certificates of insurance consistent with contract requirements.
-Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
-Where applicable, serves as liaison with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
-Key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs and location additions.
-Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, AVX analysis, ORBIT data, receivables and collections. Addresses and resolves problems.
-Performs related duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Bachelors Degree in Risk Management desired or equivalent work experience in commercial insurance with exposure to aviation or large complex vertical accounts
-Brokers license and/or CIC, CPCU, or ARM preferred
-Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, Excel and Lotus Notes is required.
-Excellent communication skills.
