We are looking for someone to head up the Business Support Team on a global basis, managing the team that delivers the survey and project output to clients via the RM network. The role is based in London or Stamford. The Business Support Team is responsible for the management of the survey process, producing and distributing the annual survey reports and supporting the delivery of consulting projects.

This role will be focused on project management and will ensure the smooth running of every part of the annual process. The successful applicant will also be responsible for managing the pool of resources which will be working on both survey process and consulting project work throughout the year.

Responsibilities will include:

Global project management of the annual survey process, including:
-Promoting and enforcing global consistency
-Process optimisation and enhancement
-Enforcing a high level of quality control to ensure the integrity and completeness of the McLagan databases
-Delivery of the annual survey reports to our clients
-Improving communication between Relationship Managers, Survey Managers and the Global Business Support Team
- Development of the Business Support Team including co-ordinating training of staff
- Managing resourcing of a pool of analysts and interns
-Project management of survey process resources
-Project management of consulting project resources
- Working closely with the IT team to ensure the necessary systems are in place to implement the most efficient process

This is a demanding position, involving very tight delivery deadlines on a global basis. The applicant must have the flexibility to work over and above their normal working hours especially during the peak season (April to September).

Ideal candidates will have the following attributes:
-Experience in project management on a global basis
-Process focused individual with the ability to not only to execute a process but also be proactive and possess the ability to make changes to that process. Have the ability to influence and persuade people to embrace change
-Experience in Financial Services
-Experience of team leadership and talent development
-Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Access and Excel. Microsoft SQL would be advantageous
-Strong written skills and a high comfort level working in a team environment
