In this position, you will investigate, coordinate, negotiate and settle physical damage and cargo claims losses for our Midwest region in South Sioux City, NE. This includes taking after hours claims calls on a rotating basis, and traveling to accident sites to facilitate clean up and secure cargo and equipment or to repair facilities to inspect damaged equipment.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience adjusting physical damage/cargo claims or estimating experience.
• Knowledge of the values of tractors, trailers, equipment and cargo; claims settlement procedures, including motor carrier insurance policies and coverage. Able to handle full range of claims.
• Able to work independently and travel extensively.
