Responsibilities:
We are looking for an engineer with 2-4 years construction on-site experience to join a catastrophic property consulting team that assists insured’s in determining the replacement cost value of assets. You will be trained on use of valuation systems for pre-loss work and methodologies for post-loss quantification of physical damages. There will also be travel required for this position, not only in the U.S. but also out of the country, as well.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree or civil engineering degree
LEED Certification a plus.
Knowledge of building codes helpful
Detailed knowledge of construction techniques and building practices
Detail oriented
Self starter
Works with limited supervision
Good oral and written communication skills
