Currently, Chubb is seeking a Manual Rater for the Whitehouse Station, NJ office.
Job Description:
The Manual Rater will be responsible to manually calculate policy premiums using rating manuals and code transactions into the EPREMIUM system for billing purposes. The individual will act as a resource to both internal and external customer groups and may participate on other projects based on business needs.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Maintaining and updating rating manuals
• Being aware and adhering to current state initiatives and guidelines
• Screening renewals for underwriting criteria
• Adherence to the unit’s established accuracy goals to ensure state audit compliance and customer retention
• Meeting established service, productivity and accuracy goals to support CPI’s business goals and objectives
Competencies & Skills Required:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities concurrently
• Ability to work independently yet collaborate with internal and external partners in a team setting
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Thorough understanding of Customer Service Center and CPI business objectives
• Solid PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to successfully achieve business results
• Typing minimum of 30 WPM
• Knowledge of Chubb Non-Masterpiece inquiry systems and Priority Rating software a plus
• Knowledge of Non-Masterpiece workflows and website information a plus
