Full-time Surveyor - Commissioned

Summary of Role:
Under the direction of the Regional Supervisor/Project Manager, inspects properties in compliance with a court-approved protocol. Surveyor/Warranty Service Techs identifies the product, measures the square footage of the covered product, determines whether damage and/or causation exception (exclusions) exists as defined in the class-action settlement, and records the square footage of compensable damage. Duties include warranty service inspections for various clients, based on their specific instructions. Some minor product repairs and/or adjustments may be required while on site. The repairs/adjustments may include replacing weatherstrip, sash, glass, hinges and locks.

Responsibilities: 
Measures and records the square footage of the covered material or product.
Determines whether damage exists as agreed to by the parties to the settlement and approved by the Courts.
Determines whether the Causation Exception, a condition that excludes damage, exists as agreed to by the parties and approved by the Courts.
Determines and records the square footage of compensable damage.
Performs inspections within the agreed timelines.
Performs warranty inspections
Performs minor repairs/adjustments to include replacing weatherstrip, sash, glass, hinges and locks

Required:
Previous experience in building construction is helpful, but not necessary
Strong analytical ability and mathematical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills - ability to learn automated siding claims system.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work remotely with little or no supervision.
Must be able to drive a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license for the jurisdiction
Depending on geographic territory, may involve extended driving or overnight stays
