SIU INVESTIGATOR (Fort Myers)

This position involves action planning, investigation and documentation of potentially fraudulent claims. The SIU Investigator is the subject matter expert on insurance fraud to the claims branches that they service and are able to communicate directly and competently with local Senior Claims Managers regarding investigative strategies and conclusions on all investigation types.
The chosen candidate will be a SIU generalist responsible for conducting suspect property (primarily suspicious theft & fire claims) and suspect medical/injury related investigations including but not limited to those involving staged/caused losses and provider impropriety. The primary coverage territory will include the Fort Myers region.
Interested candidates should have a proven history of conducting detailed investigations with advanced interviewing experience, and should have experience investigating PIP claims, completing vehicle damage analysis and a strong understanding of regulatory issues and case law impacting medical investigations in Florida. Experience completing EUOs preferable.
Knowledge/Skills:
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an investigator. Relevant experience includes prior employment as a SIU Investigator, Law Enforcement or Regulatory Investigator.
-Advanced interviewing and investigative proficiency
-Strong organizational and analytical skills.
-Case management, communication and presentation skills.
