Position Summary:
In this role, under general supervision, you will evaluate and settle casualty claims of modest to complex exposure (including fatalities) by investigating losses, negotiating settlements and reporting obtained information in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining adequate production levels. This position is for unintentional, un-employment insurance protection for mortgage, rent, auto, and other speciality lines. Requires demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, create accurate calculations, and have stong anlaytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:
May assist junior adjusters
Recommend litigation when appropriate
Sets loss reserves, and control claim costs
Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
Presents evidence at legal proceedings; producing reports and other documents as evidence

Perform duties in other areas as requested.

Requirements: 
Ability to travel
A valid driver’s license
Good attention to detail
Strong analytical and mathematical ability
Minimum 6 months previous experience as a Claims Adjuster
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including on-call work beyond normal business hours
Fluently in Spanish required.

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
