We currently have an opening for a Senior Claims Adjust in Houston, TX

Position Overview
This position is a professional position in the risk management department. Must have at least 5 solid years GL Claims experience.
Position will be outsourced through Aon Global Risk Consulting and is located in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities Include:
GL claims, cradle to grave
Travel to incident sites for investigation when needed
Meet with claimants when needed
Settle claims within certain authority level
Assign outside adjusters as needed from designated list
Retain counsel when needed and liaise with defense counsel and insured regularly
Provide notice to excess insurers when needed
Attend / participate in safety meetings and interact with safety groups (on a regular basis)
Attend mediations and trials
Attend regular claim reviews at various sites and will meet regularly with client to discuss claim status

Qualifications & Experience
College degree preferred with area of study in Business, Finance, or Risk Management
5 – 10 years GL claims experience;
Familiarity with contracts and marine coverage a plus.
Computer literacy in Windows environment, Word, Excel, Access, Lotus Notes software and on-line date base systems
