Claims Adj II - Comm Fld (Louisville, KY)

A Commercial Claims Adjuster Investigates, analyses, and determines the extent of Progressive's liability concerning loss of damages specific to Commercial products and effects settlement with claimants. Commercial losses handled by Claims Adjusters in the Field Specialist Development Program most often involve vehicles such as heavy trucks and equipment. Position requires flexibility to travel extensively, including some overnight stays.

Knowledge/Skills:
- 5+ yrs. of related work experience in a repair facility handling commercial vehicles, truck dealership, or heavy equipment body shop management or comparable commercial insurance adjusting experience.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills both verbal & written.
