CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR

Supervising our Medicare Part D unit, this individual guides the team’s development, manages workload and resources, and serves as the primary contact for the team. Duties include serving as the Part D process expert and resource; researching customer information in response to inquiries including authorizations, payment denials, validity of coordination of benefit files and status of file transmissions; facilitating the relationship with Prescription Drug Plans for enrollment and encounter data; interfacing with State agency staff by phone, written correspondence and in person.

The ideal candidate will have BA/BS: Business, Healthcare or equivalent work history within the healthcare setting; 1-2 years supervisory experience. The ability to work with a variety of customers that will include State officials, Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and internal FH operational units. Having excellent communication skills and being able to articulate is key. The knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases essential; Experience with major insurance carriers and knowledge of the coordination of benefits is required.
