Full-time Associate Account Executive - Health & Welfare

We currently have a career opportunity in our West Des Moines, IA office for a Associate Account Executive. 

Position Description
- Review annual accounting for accuracy
- Prepare/Analyze RFPs, renewals, related information
- Analyze carrier claims, utilization reports; report findings to clients
- Prepare financial histories for client
- Peer review technical reports
- Develop clients’ benefits strategy in concert with other programs
- Demonstrates technical competency and creates innovative solutions
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Liaison between client and vendor to resolve problems
- Create/Present Open Enrollment material for client meetings
- Responsible for client management of low to medium complexity accounts

Skills and Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in the H&B insurance industry in a service capacity or related business experience. 
Experience with multi-state operations is beneficial. 
Health & Welfare Insurance License for Iowa a plus.
Ability to assit with sales a plus.
Candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and work with a sense of urgency.
Organization skills and attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team are important.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
