Summary of Role:
In this role, under general supervision, you will evaluate, and settle casualty claims of modest to complex exposure (including fatalities) by investigating losses, negotiating settlements and reporting obtained information in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining adequate production levels.

Make sales calls
May assist junior adjusters
Recommend litigation when appropriate
Set loss reserves, and control claim costs
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
Present evidence at legal proceedings; produce reports and other documents as evidence

Perform duties in other areas as requested

Requirements:
Ability to travel
A valid driver’s license
Minimum 6 months previous experience as a Claims Adjuster.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule outside of normal business hours, including on-call

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
