Central Claims Rep
at Progressive Insurance in Texas

Work Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Schedule for the first 8 weeks of training will be Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm
Salary: 14.92 per hour
The Central Claims Representative handles losses involving single vehicle accidents or limited number of features via in-bound and out-bound calls. Coordinates the repair process, rental, and other associated coverage issues.
Knowledge/Skills:
High School diploma or GED
Two years experience in a Claims contact Center job and/or combination of 3 years Customer Service or relevant business experience.
Ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong computer skills such as windows-based programs and internet navigation.
Demonstrated problem-solving skill.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Ability to manage conflict and communicate difficult messages.
Preferences:
Bachelor's Degree
