PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To oversee RN Consultant (RNC) activities and ensure RNC receive appropriate training; and to ensure RNC's performance is within company guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trains, coaches and supervises day-to-day activities of RNCs ensuring quality of investigative reports and that productivity requirements are met.
Provides guidance as needed; develops skills and competency levels of assigned RNCs.
Proofreads reports and provides feedback on work product.
Monitors attendance, expenses and RNC activity.
Reviews medical records and prepares record review reports monthly.
Maintains presence in office to facilitate account workflow needs and participation in departmental/management meetings.
Supports the Total Performance Management initiative.
Travels as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Licensing:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. RN license required.

Experience:
Ten (10) years related clinical nursing experience required. Legal Nurse Consultant training and management experience preferred.
