We currently have a career opportunity for a Account Specialist with Health & Benefits experience in our Omaha, NE office:

Description:
The selected candidate will assist in the management of a book of business and support production of new. This individual will provide the necessary account management to continue to effectively service the existing book of business in the Omaha Health & Benefits area. 

Provide exceptional customer service
Liaison between client and vendor to resolve problems
Evaluate renewals
Review annual accountings for accuracy
Prepare and analyze benefits RFPs, renewals, related information
Analyze carrier claims, utilization reports; report findings to consultants/clients
Prepare financial histories for client
Peer review technical reports
Develop clients' benefits strategy in concert with other programs
Create/present open enrollment material

Qualifications
High school diploma, college degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the administration of Employee Benefits.
Knowledge of self funded /fully insured medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans preferred.
Must obtain or maintain Life/Health insurance license for Nebraska.
Well developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated, proactive and works with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work independently as well within a team atmosphere important
Prior consulting or Brokerage experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
