Full-time Account Asst

Affinity Insurance Services, a division of Aon, is a full-service insurance broker/administrator specializing in the marketing and administration of insurance programs for Aon’s affinity customer groups. We are the vital link bringing together these groups with underwriting companies. For our customers, we are an advocate, providing competitive products and easily accessible, world-class customer service. For the underwriting company, we provide the marketing and administrative expertise necessary to maximize their policy sales. 

Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for an Account Assistant at our Boston, MA office of Affinity Insurance Services, Inc. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Work in a fast paced, high volume team environment
Contact prospects from identified target groups for the purpose of generating effective dates;
Ensure quality of generated leads is accurate
Survey prospects to determine insurance needs, inspecting current insurance policies, risk management plans, products and records;
Maintain production reports, and attend all sales meetings as required;
Contribute innovative ideas to improve efficiencies and infrastructure; 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Entry level/trainee but some job-related experience (less than 2 years) is a plus.
Outbound call experience 

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Good communication; computer skills – familiarity with MS Office programs, Lotus Notes. Required to obtain Property & Casualty license within six month of hire date 

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma, college degree preferred and/or business experience.
P&C License a plus.
