Assistant Account Executive- Financial Professional Lines

Job Summary:
The world’s foremost independent risk advisors are busy, which is good news for licensed P&C brokers with an eye for the big picture and a knack for getting inside a client’s business. We seek an experienced an Assistant Account Executive with 2 years of Commercial Lines brokerage experience, financial professional lines preferred. Candidates should be strategic thinkers who value honesty and possess a sense of urgency matched by integrity and an absolute commitment to client care. The Assistant Account Executive will be responsible for assisting Account Executives in servicing D&O, E&O, EPLI, Cyber, Fiduciary and Fidelity policies
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
The duties of the Assistant Account Executive include, but are not limited to:
• Assistant Team Leader and Account Executives in technical areas to ensure efficient workflow of department
• Handle minor placements as directed by, and under the supervision of, the Team Leader and Account Executives
• Assist in the research and implementation of new business initiatives
• Provide telephone back-up to AE’s when they are unavailable or out of the office
• Responsible for department mail distribution
• Process applications, proposals, binders, change requests & schedules of insurance
• Data entry including billing policies and endorsements in Sagitta
• Follow-up on policy issuance and billing matters
• Manage and process daily mail, suspenses, cancellations, binders, certificates and schedule of insurance and prepare own correspondence to clients
• Assist in reviewing and processing renewals
• Creating proposals when necessary
• Assist department AE’s as may be required
• Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager and/or AE
Requirements and Qualifications:
• College degree preferred
• Valid P&C brokers’ license
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance brokerage experience, FIN-PRO exp. a plus
• Familiarity with E&O and D&O coverage
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Sagitta office system a plus
