Multi Line Commercial Underwriter

Currently, Chubb is seeking a Multi Line Commercial Underwriter for the Whitehouse Station, NJ office.
The Underwriter will manage approximately a $7M to $8M book of commercial business. Lines of business include package, automobile, umbrella, international, and workers' compensation. Duties will include underwriting and servicing accounts based on Chubb guidelines. Must develop strong relationship with assigned agents in order to manage our rate strategies and positively impact retention and profitability. Must be able to travel to territories to develop agency relationships.
The Candidate ideally should have a minimum of three years experience in multi-line/commercial package underwriting. Must have proven ability to successfully negotiate on all levels and develop producer relations. A strong track record of service orientation is required. Knowledge of pricing/rate strategies and how to apply them to attain underwriting profit, new business and quality producer management is essential. Will need a solid background in risk analysis. Candidate must have strong communication and time management skills.
