Central Claims Rep
at Progressive Insurance in Texas

Work Schedules:
Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6 p.m OR
Sunday - Thursday 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm.
The Central Claims Representative handles losses involving single vehicle accidents or limited number of features via in-bound and out-bound calls. Coordinates the repair process, rental, and other associated coverage issues.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- High School diploma or GED and some college preferred.
- Two years experience in a Claims contact Center job and/or combination of 3 years Customer Service or relevant business experience.
- Ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic computer skills such as windows-based programs and internet navigation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skill.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to manage conflict and communicate difficult messages.
